Possible Causes
Exhaust hose too long or coiled, Blocked window kit vent, Hot exhaust air recirculating into room, Damaged internal ducting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
1. Check hose length and routing: Ensure the exhaust hose is as short and straight as possible, within De'Longhi's specified maximum length.
- 2. Inspect window kit: Confirm the window adapter is sealed properly and the vent flap (if present) opens freely.
- 3. Prevent recirculation: Seal gaps around the window kit with foam or weatherstripping to prevent hot exhaust from re-entering the room.
- 4. Avoid tight coils: Do not coil the hose tightly; this increases back pressure and temperature.
