How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit before draining.
- 1. Drain water: Open the lower drain plug and drain water into a shallow pan until flow stops.
- 2. Check continuous drain: Ensure the hose is not kinked and slopes downward.
- 3. Clean float and sensor: Access the base pan, clean the float mechanism, and ensure it moves freely.
- 4. Level the unit: Adjust the unit so it is slightly tilted toward the drain side.
If P2 persists with no water present, the water level sensor or float switch likely needs replacement.
