How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit. Avoid standing in water while working on the appliance.
- 1. Move and inspect: Carefully move the unit and inspect the underside and rear for signs of water trails.
- 2. Drain water: Open the drain plug and fully drain the internal tank into a shallow pan.
- 3. Clean drain path: Remove the rear panel to access the drain pan and channel. Use a soft brush and warm soapy water to remove slime, mold, and debris. Flush with clean water.
- 4. Check drain hose: If using a continuous drain, disconnect and blow through the hose to ensure it is clear. Replace if brittle or cracked.
- 5. Leveling: Use a level to ensure the unit tilts slightly toward the drain outlet as specified in the manual.
- 6. Inspect drain pan: Look for cracks or splits in the plastic pan. If damaged, the pan assembly may need replacement.
