Electrolux

Unit displays P1 and stops operation, often in dehumidify or cooling mode

Possible Causes
Internal condensate tank full, Blocked drain hose, Faulty float switch or water level sensor, Unit not level causing poor drainage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before draining water.
Steps:
- Empty tank: On Electrolux portable ACs, remove the drain plug or tank and empty all water. Dry and reinstall securely.
- Check drain hose: If a continuous drain hose is connected, ensure it is not kinked, elevated above the outlet, or blocked. Clean or replace if necessary.
- Level the unit: Make sure the unit is on a flat, level surface so water flows to the drain correctly.
- Inspect float switch: Access the float or water level sensor and ensure it moves freely and is not stuck by dirt or scale. Clean gently.
If P1 persists with an empty tank and clear drain, the float switch or water level sensor may need replacement.
