Loud rattling or buzzing noise from indoor unit during operation

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before opening the front panel.

Steps:

• Tighten panels: Ensure the front cover is properly latched and all screws are tight.
• Check filters: Make sure filters are seated correctly and not vibrating.
• Inspect blower: Look for debris (plastic, paper, insects) inside the blower wheel and remove carefully.
• Fan mounts: Gently check if the fan motor is firmly secured. Tighten mounting screws if accessible.

If noise persists or you hear grinding/squealing, the fan motor bearings or blower wheel may need replacement.
