Safety: Turn off power before working around water and electrical components.

• Clear drain line: Use a wet/dry vacuum at the drain outlet to remove clogs. Flush with a mixture of water and a small amount of bleach to kill algae.
• Clean trap: Disassemble and clean the condensate trap if accessible.
• Inspect pan: Check the primary and secondary drain pans for cracks or rust-through. Replace damaged pans.
• Level unit: Ensure the air handler or cassette is slightly tilted toward the drain outlet to promote drainage.
