• Verify tilt: Ensure the unit is tilted slightly to the outside so water drains away from the wall.
• Install or adjust drain spout: Many Friedrich units have an optional drain spout or knockout. Install or reposition it so water drips clear of the wall.
• Clean external drain kit: If a drain hose is attached, remove and flush it to clear any blockages.
• Seal around sleeve: Ensure the wall sleeve is properly sealed so water cannot run back into the wall cavity.
