Unit runs but airflow is very weak from the front grille

Safety: Turn OFF and unplug the unit before cleaning or disassembly.

Steps:

• Clean or replace filter: A dirty filter is the most common cause of weak airflow.
• Inspect evaporator coil: Remove the front cover and check the coil. Clean thoroughly if clogged.
• Check blower wheel: Ensure the blower wheel is firmly attached to the motor shaft and not slipping.
• Fan speed: Verify the fan is set to HIGH or appropriate speed on the control panel.
• Duct issues (if applicable): For ducted Friedrich units, inspect ducts for kinks, collapses, or closed dampers.
