• Verify mode and fan settings: Use AUTO fan mode if available to reduce rapid cycling.
• Room sizing: If the unit is significantly oversized, consider using a lower fan speed or a smaller-capacity unit to reduce cycling.
• Control issues: Persistent short cycling with correct sizing and sensor placement may indicate a control board problem.
