Display shows LO and the unit may not cool or may cycle oddly; temperature setting cannot be raised above a certain point.

Steps:

• 1. Check room temperature: Use a separate thermometer to verify actual room temperature. If the room is very cool, the unit may be operating normally.
• 2. Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes and restart. If LO persists and the room is not cold, continue.
• 3. Inspect room sensor: Access the control area and locate the room thermistor. Ensure it is not touching the cold evaporator coil, which can cause false low readings.
• 4. Test and replace sensor: Measure resistance and compare to spec. Replace the room thermistor if readings are incorrect.
• 5. Control board: If the sensor is good but LO remains with incorrect temperature readings, the main control board may need replacement.
