Frigidaire
Excess Condensate / Drain Management Issue
Excessive water dripping from the back of the unit or splashing onto the wall or ground.

Possible Causes
Very humid conditions, missing or damaged splash ring on condenser fan, blocked weep holes causing overflow, unit not level side-to-side
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before inspecting the rear section.
Steps:
- 1. Verify normal behavior: Some water dripping from the rear is normal, especially in humid weather. However, heavy streams or splashing may indicate an issue.
- 2. Check fan splash ring: Many Frigidaire units use a slinger ring on the condenser fan blade to pick up water and splash it on the coil. If the ring is broken or missing, replace the fan blade assembly.
- 3. Clear weep holes: Ensure small drain/weep holes in the rear pan are not blocked. Clear debris carefully.
- 4. Level side-to-side: Make sure the unit is level left-to-right so water distributes evenly in the pan.
