How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power.
Procedure:
- Inspect keypad: Check for stuck buttons, cracks, or signs of water damage on the front control panel.
- Access control panel: Remove the front grille and unscrew the control panel. Carefully pull it forward.
- Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat cable between the keypad and display/control board is fully seated and not damaged.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or water is present, dry thoroughly and allow several hours before reapplying power.
- Replace keypad: If buttons are unresponsive or shorted, replace the keypad/user interface assembly.
- Replace display board: If a new keypad does not resolve F4, replace the display/control board.
