GE air conditioner display is dim, flickering, or partially unreadable

• Check connections: Ensure the display board connector is firmly seated on the main control board.
• Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion, burn marks, or moisture on the display board.
• Dry and clean: If moisture is present, dry thoroughly and clean with isopropyl alcohol.
• Replace display board: If the display remains dim or segments are missing, replace the display/control board assembly.
