• Step 1 – Check for obstructions: Ensure nothing is blocking the louvers (decorations, curtains, etc.).
• Step 2 – Manual movement test: Gently move the louvers by hand with power OFF. If they are stuck or jammed, inspect for broken plastic parts.
• Step 3 – Test swing function: Restore power and press the SWING button on the remote. If the motor hums but louvers do not move, the linkage may be broken.
• Step 4 – Replace louver motor or assembly: A technician can replace the stepper motor or louver assembly if damaged.
