• Step 3 – Clear line of sight: Ensure nothing blocks the path between the remote and the indoor unit's IR receiver window.
• Step 4 – Test emergency operation: Many Gree indoor units have a manual ON/OFF button under the front panel. Press it to verify the unit itself can run.
