How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the evaporator coil.
- Access evaporator: Remove the front cover and filters. Carefully remove the plastic covers to expose the evaporator coil.
- Locate sensor: The evaporator sensor is usually clipped to the coil tubing. Ensure it is firmly attached and not hanging loose.
- Check wiring: Trace the sensor wires back to the indoor PCB. Confirm the connector is fully inserted and wires are intact.
- Replace sensor: If the sensor appears damaged or F2 persists, replace it with a Haier-specified evaporator temperature sensor.
