Possible Causes

Internal condensate tank full, Blocked drain outlet or hose, Faulty water level float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the portable AC before draining water.

  • Drain the tank: Move the unit to a location where water spillage is acceptable. Remove the drain plug or cap at the bottom rear and drain water into a shallow pan.
  • Check drain hose (if used): Ensure any continuous drain hose is not kinked or elevated above the outlet.
  • Clean float switch: If accessible, clean the float and its chamber to remove slime or debris that may cause sticking.
  • If P2 persists after draining: The float switch or water level sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
