Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown internal fuse on indoor PCB, Loose power wiring at indoor terminal block, Faulty indoor main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening any covers, switch off the breaker and verify power is off.
- Check breaker: Inspect the dedicated AC breaker in the panel. Reset if tripped; if it trips again immediately, do not force it—call an electrician or technician.
- Verify outlet (portable/window): Plug another appliance into the same outlet to confirm power is present.
- Inspect indoor terminal block: Remove the indoor unit cover and check that L and N wires are firmly secured and not burnt.
- Check PCB fuse: Many Haier indoor PCBs have a small glass or cartridge fuse. Replace only with the same rating if blown. If it blows again, there is a deeper fault.
- If still dead: The indoor PCB may be defective and require replacement.
