Heil
No Power to Outdoor Unit
Heil air conditioner outdoor unit will not start at all; indoor blower runs and thermostat calls for cooling

Possible Causes
Tripped outdoor disconnect, Tripped breaker in main panel, Blown fuse in disconnect, Loose high-voltage wiring at contactor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: High voltage is present at the condenser. If you are not comfortable working around 240V circuits, call a professional.
- Step 1 – Check thermostat: Confirm thermostat is set to COOL and temperature is below room temperature.
- Step 2 – Inspect breaker: At the main panel, locate the breaker labeled for the Heil AC and reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, stop and call a technician.
- Step 3 – Check outdoor disconnect: Ensure the pull-out or breaker at the condenser is fully inserted and ON. Replace any blown fuses with the same type and rating.
- Step 4 – Visual inspection: With power off, remove the service panel and look for burnt wires or loose lugs at the contactor. Tighten if slightly loose; if wires are burnt, have them repaired by a pro.
