Possible Causes

Loose discharge sensor on compressor line, Sensor drift due to high temperature exposure, Damaged sensor wiring, Faulty outdoor PCB sensor circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power off at the breaker. The discharge line can be extremely hot; allow time to cool before touching.

  • Step 1 – Verify sensor attachment:
    • Locate the T3 sensor on the small copper discharge line near the compressor.
    • Ensure it is tightly clamped and insulated as originally installed.
  • Step 2 – Inspect wiring:
    • Check for brittle or heat-damaged insulation.
    • Replace the sensor if the wiring is compromised.
  • Step 3 – Replace sensor if suspect:
    • Disconnect from the PCB and install a new Hisense-compatible discharge sensor.
  • Step 4 – Technician follow-up: If F3 remains, the outdoor PCB or compressor operating conditions must be evaluated by a technician.
