Safety first: Unplug the portable AC before draining water. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

• Step 1 – Drain the tank:
  • Move the unit to a location where water spillage is acceptable.
  • Remove the drain plug or cap at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Drain water into a shallow pan or directly to a floor drain.
• Step 2 – Check drain hose (if used):
  • Ensure the hose is not kinked, elevated above the outlet, or blocked.
  • Clean any algae or debris from the hose.
• Step 3 – Level the unit:
  • Use a spirit level or visual check to ensure the unit is on a flat, level surface.
• Step 4 – Inspect float switch:
  • If P2 remains after draining, the float switch may be stuck.
  • Access the tank area (per manual), gently move the float, and clean any slime or debris.
