• Step 1 – Clean indoor filters and coil:

  • Remove debris and clean the condenser fins.
• Step 3 – Check settings and room conditions:
  • Set mode to COOL, fan to HIGH, and temperature at least 5°C below room temperature.
  • Close doors and windows; reduce heat sources (ovens, direct sun) where possible.
• Step 4 – Evaluate capacity:
  • Compare room size to unit BTU rating; if undersized, the unit will struggle in extreme heat.
