Indoor unit makes loud rattling or buzzing noise during operation

Safety first: Turn OFF the unit before touching moving parts.

Steps:

• Check filters and panel: Ensure filters are fully seated and the front panel is closed and latched properly.
• Inspect blower: Open the panel and look for foreign objects (plastic, insects, toys) in the cross‑flow fan. Remove carefully.
• Tighten screws: Gently tighten accessible screws on the indoor casing and wall bracket.
• Check mounting: Ensure the indoor unit is firmly hooked onto the wall bracket and not wobbling.

If noise persists or is a grinding sound: The fan motor or blower wheel may be damaged and require replacement.
