Honeywell AC displays LC and buttons may not respond.

Note: LC is typically not a fault but an indication that the control panel is locked.

Steps:

• Disable child lock: Press and hold the designated key combination (often the '+' and '-' temperature buttons together, or the lock icon) for 3–5 seconds until LC disappears. Refer to the user manual for your specific model.
• Check buttons: If LC will not clear, inspect the control panel for stuck or damaged buttons. Clean around the buttons with a soft cloth.
• Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug back in. Try disabling the lock again.
• Panel replacement: If the lock cannot be cleared and buttons are unresponsive, the display/control PCB may need replacement.
