Possible Causes
Faulty touchpad or button board, Loose ribbon cable to main PCB, Stuck buttons due to dirt or moisture
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove grime. Do not allow water to enter the electronics.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front bezel and check the flat ribbon cable between the keypad board and main PCB. Reseat both ends.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to feel for sticking. If a button is physically stuck, clean around it or replace the control panel / keypad board.
Note: If the panel remains unresponsive with a good keypad and cable, the main control PCB may be defective.
