Possible Causes

Restricted condensate drain path, Unit not level causing poor drainage, Faulty water level sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before tilting or draining.

Steps:

  • Level the unit: Ensure the portable AC is on a flat, level surface. Adjust casters or supports if necessary.
  • Drain water: As with P1, open the designated drain port and empty the internal tank.
  • Inspect internal drain: If accessible, check the internal drain channels and tubing for algae, slime, or debris. Clean with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Check sensor: Verify the water level sensor or float switch moves freely and is not obstructed.

Test: After draining and cleaning, restore power and confirm P2 is cleared.
