• 3. Check attachment: Ensure the sensor is firmly clipped to the coil and not hanging loose. Reattach if necessary.
• 4. Inspect wiring: Look for damage from vibration or rubbing against metal. Repair or replace damaged harness sections.
• 5. Replace sensor if faulty: If resistance tests open/shorted, install a new Insignia outdoor temperature sensor.
• 6. If F2 persists: A persistent F2 with a good sensor indicates a likely main PCB fault; replacement is recommended.
