Front display and buttons work, but the remote control does not operate the unit.

• 4. Inspect IR receiver: Remove the front bezel and locate the IR receiver on the display board. Check for broken leads or corrosion. Replace the display/receiver board if damaged.
• 5. Test after reassembly: Reinstall the front panel, restore power, and test remote operation from various angles.
