How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing the indoor fan.
Steps:
- Clean blower: Remove filters and inspect the blower wheel for dust buildup. Clean with a soft brush and vacuum.
- Check rotation: Spin the blower by hand to ensure it moves freely.
- Inspect motor connector: Ensure the multi-pin connector from the DC fan motor is firmly seated on the indoor PCB.
- Replace motor: If the fan does not reach commanded speeds or stalls, replace the DC indoor fan motor with a Kelvinator-approved part.
