How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front panel.
Steps:
- Remove front cover: Open the front panel and remove screws securing the display panel.
- Check ribbon cable: Inspect the flat cable or harness between the display board and main PCB. Reseat both ends.
- Inspect for damage: Look for cracked solder joints, burnt components, or moisture damage on the display PCB.
- Replace display board: If damaged, replace the display/receiver PCB with a Kelvinator-compatible part.
- PCB replacement: If the display is good but F7 persists, the indoor main PCB may be faulty.
