Steps:

• Drain the unit: Place a shallow pan under the lower drain outlet. Remove the cap and allow all water to drain.
• Check continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it slopes downward and is not blocked.
• Clean float and sensor: Access the internal tank and verify the float moves freely. Clean any buildup that may cause sticking.
• Test again: After draining and cleaning, restart the unit. If P1 returns immediately, replace the float switch or water level sensor assembly.
