How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Dry panel: If the panel recently got wet, unplug the unit and allow it to dry completely for 24 hours.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front bezel and check the flat cable between the keypad/display board and main board. Reseat both ends.
- Clean contacts: If accessible, gently clean connector contacts with electronics contact cleaner.
- Replace keypad/display board: If specific buttons never work or require excessive pressure, replace the keypad or entire display PCB with a Keystone-compatible part.
