Possible Causes
Failed indoor DC fan motor, Loose fan motor connector, Obstructed blower wheel, Faulty indoor PCB fan driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before opening the indoor unit.
- Step 1 – Check fan settings: Ensure the fan is not set to OFF or an ultra-low mode that appears off.
- Step 2 – Inspect blower for obstructions: Remove the front panel and look for objects blocking the blower wheel.
- Step 3 – Check wiring: Reseat the fan motor connector on the indoor PCB.
- Step 4 – Test in FAN mode: Turn the unit to FAN-only mode. If the fan still does not start, the motor or PCB is likely faulty.
- Step 5 – Replace fan motor: Remove the blower assembly and install a new Klimaire indoor fan motor if the motor is confirmed bad.
