Steps to restore power:

• 1. Check outlet: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
• 2. Reset breaker: Check your home’s breaker panel or fuse box and reset any tripped breaker serving the AC circuit.
• 3. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks in the Koldfront power cord. If damaged, the cord must be replaced; do not tape or splice it.
• 4. Test GFCI (if equipped): Some cords have a reset button. Press the reset button firmly.
• 5. Internal fuse: With the unit unplugged, remove the control box cover and look for a small glass or ceramic fuse on the control board. If blown, replace with the exact same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper electrical fault.
• 6. Control board: If power is present at the board but no lights or display, the main control board is likely defective and must be replaced.
