Koldfront portable AC exhaust hose becomes very hot and room does not cool well.

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit before adjusting the exhaust system.

Steps:

• 1. Shorten hose: Use the shortest possible length of exhaust hose recommended by Koldfront. Do not extend beyond the supplied length.
• 2. Remove kinks: Straighten the hose to ensure smooth airflow.
• 3. Seal window kit: Check that the window kit panels are tightly fitted and sealed with foam or weatherstripping to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
• 4. Check outlet: Ensure the outdoor exhaust outlet is not blocked by screens, covers, or debris.
• 5. Avoid tight bends: Route the hose with gentle curves to minimize backpressure.
