Unit displays temperature but actual room temperature is much warmer or cooler than indicated.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before moving sensors.

Steps:

• 1. Compare with thermometer: Use an accurate room thermometer to measure actual temperature.
• 2. Relocate sensor slightly: If possible, reposition the room sensor away from the cold air outlet and away from metal surfaces, keeping it in the return air stream.
• 3. Remove heat sources: Keep lamps, TVs, or other heat sources away from the intake grille.
• 4. Replace sensor: If readings remain inaccurate, replace the room temperature sensor.
