Unit does not respond to remote or panel commands after a power outage.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before extended resets.

Steps:

• 1. Hard reset: Unplug the Koldfront AC for at least 15–20 minutes to allow all capacitors to discharge.
• 2. Press buttons: While unplugged, press and hold the Power button on the control panel for 10 seconds to help discharge residual power.
• 3. Restore power: Plug the unit back in and try operating from both the panel and remote.
• 4. Surge protection: Use a surge protector to prevent future lockups from power disturbances.
• 5. Board replacement: If the unit remains unresponsive, the main control board may have been damaged and will need replacement.
