Possible Causes
Blown low‑voltage fuse, Failed 24V transformer, Shorted thermostat cable, Tripped condensate float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power to the air handler before accessing the control board.
- Check float switch: Ensure the condensate pan is not full and the float switch is not tripped.
- Inspect low‑voltage fuse: On the Luxaire control board, replace a blown 3–5A fuse with the same type and rating.
- Look for shorts: Inspect thermostat wiring for bare spots touching metal. Repair or replace damaged cable.
- Transformer test: If fuse is intact but no 24V is present, a technician should test and replace the transformer if failed.
