Possible Causes
Tripped breaker or blown fuse, Faulty indoor power supply board, Loose power wiring at indoor terminal block, Faulty surge protector or isolator
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Be cautious when working on electrical circuits. Turn off the main breaker before opening any covers.
Steps:
- Check breaker: Locate the dedicated breaker for the air conditioner and ensure it is ON. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it—call a technician.
- Verify outlet/isolator: If the indoor unit is fed via a wall isolator or plug, ensure it is switched ON and delivering power.
- Inspect indoor terminal block: With power OFF, remove the indoor unit’s electrical cover and check that all wires are firmly secured and not burnt.
- Check indicator lights: Restore power and see if any LEDs on the indoor PCB light up. No lights may indicate a failed power supply board, which should be replaced by a technician.
