Possible Causes

Supply voltage too high or too low, Loose neutral or ground, Undersized wiring or long run causing voltage drop

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before opening electrical panels.

Steps:

  • Measure voltage: Have a qualified electrician or technician measure voltage at the outdoor disconnect while the unit is trying to run.
  • Check connections: Inspect and tighten lugs at the breaker panel and disconnect (with power OFF).
  • Dedicated circuit: Ensure the MrCool unit is on a dedicated, properly sized circuit as specified in the installation manual.

If P1 persists: A line voltage regulator or electrical service upgrade may be needed. The unit itself is usually protecting itself correctly.
