Possible Causes

Tripped circuit breaker, blown internal fuse on control board, faulty power cord, failed main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Before opening the unit, unplug it from the wall. Do not bypass fuses with wire or foil.

Steps:

  • Check outlet: Plug a lamp or tester into the same outlet to confirm power. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the power cord assembly.
  • Access control compartment: Remove the electrical cover to access the main control PCB. Locate any inline fuses or board-mounted fuses.
  • Test fuses: With a multimeter, check continuity across each fuse. Replace blown fuses only with the same type and rating. If a fuse blows again immediately, there is a short that must be found before further operation.
  • Board replacement: If fuses and cord are good but there is still no power, the main control PCB is likely defective and should be replaced.
