Control panel buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Dry panel: If the panel has been exposed to moisture, allow it to dry completely. Do not use the unit until dry.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front bezel and check the ribbon cable between the keypad and the display/control PCB. Reseat the connector.
• Check for corrosion: Look for corrosion on the keypad contacts or PCB. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
• Replace control panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the display/control PCB or keypad assembly as supplied by NewAir.
