E9
Olimpia Splendid
Full Condensate Tank / Drainage Fault (Portable Units)
E9 error; unit may stop and beep; sometimes associated with water leakage or full tank

Possible Causes
Internal condensate tank full, Blocked drain hose or fitting, Faulty float switch or water level sensor, Kinked external drain tube
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the portable air conditioner before draining water to avoid electric shock.
- Empty the tank: Move the Olimpia Splendid portable unit to a location where water spillage is acceptable. Remove the lower drain plug or cap and drain water into a shallow tray or container.
- Check float switch: Locate the internal float or water level sensor near the condensate collection tray. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck by dirt or algae.
- Clean the tray: Wipe the condensate tray with a cloth and mild detergent to remove slime or debris that can jam the float.
- Inspect drain hose: If using continuous drain, check that the hose is not kinked, elevated above the outlet, or blocked. Flush it with water if necessary.
- Reset and test: After draining and cleaning, reinstall plugs securely, reconnect power, and run the unit. E9 should clear.
- Replace sensor if needed: If the tank is empty but E9 persists, the float switch or water level sensor may be faulty. Replace it with the correct part for your Olimpia Splendid model.
