How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: On many Olimpia Splendid heat pump models, H1 is informational, indicating defrost mode, not a fault.

  • Observe duration: If H1 appears briefly and then clears, this is normal defrost operation.
  • Clean outdoor coil: If H1 remains for very long periods, clean the outdoor coil to improve defrost efficiency.
  • Check outdoor fan: Ensure the fan is running properly; poor airflow can cause excessive frost.
