Possible Causes
Internal tank full, Blocked internal drain channel, Kinked or elevated continuous drain hose, Faulty water level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Olimpia Splendid portable air conditioner before draining.
- Drain water: Place a shallow pan under the lower drain outlet. Remove the cap and allow water to drain completely.
- Clear drain path: Check the internal drain spout and hose for blockages. Use a flexible brush or flush with water.
- Continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it slopes downward with no kinks and that the outlet is not submerged.
- Check float or sensor: Inspect the float mechanism for sticking. Clean any slime or debris.
- Test operation: Refit the cap, plug in, and restart. If P1 persists with an empty tank, the level sensor may need replacement.
