Remote control does not operate the unit

Note: Many Olimpia Splendid units rely entirely on the remote for advanced functions.

• Replace batteries: Install fresh, correctly oriented batteries in the remote.
• Check line of sight: Ensure there is a clear path between the remote and the indoor unit's IR receiver window.
• Test remote: Point the remote at a smartphone camera; pressing buttons should show a flashing light on the camera screen. If not, the remote may be faulty.
• Clean receiver window: Wipe the IR receiver area on the indoor unit with a soft cloth.
• Receiver fault: If the remote works but the unit does not respond, the IR receiver board or main PCB may need replacement.
