Step 1 – Clean the filter:
- Remove the front grille and take out the air filter.
- Vacuum or wash with mild soap and water; dry completely before reinstalling.
Step 2 – Reset the reminder:
- Press and hold the FILTER RESET or TIMER button (varies by model) for 3–5 seconds until CF clears.

Regular filter cleaning improves efficiency and prevents other error codes related to overheating or icing.
