Possible Causes

Corrupted control board memory, Loose control panel ribbon cable, Failed main PCB, Power surge damage

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Pro Breeze air conditioner from the wall outlet before removing any covers. Do not work on the control board with power connected.

  • Step 1 – Power reset:
    • Unplug the unit for at least 5–10 minutes.
    • Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the control panel for 10 seconds (with the unit unplugged) to discharge residual power.
    • Plug back in and try to start the unit. If E0 clears, monitor operation.
  • Step 2 – Check control panel connections:
    • Unplug the unit again.
    • Remove the front plastic bezel/control panel cover (usually held by a few screws along the top and sides).
    • Locate the flat ribbon cable from the display/control panel to the main PCB.
    • Disconnect and firmly reconnect the ribbon cable, ensuring it is fully seated and not pinched.
  • Step 3 – Inspect main PCB:
    • Remove the side or rear service panel to access the main control board.
    • Look for burn marks, swollen capacitors, or corrosion on the PCB.
    • If visible damage is present, the Main Control PCB will likely need replacement.
  • Step 4 – Replace main PCB (advanced):
    • Order the correct Pro Breeze Main Control PCB using the model number from the rating label.
    • Label and photograph all wire connections before removal.
    • Swap the board, reconnect all harnesses, reassemble panels, then test.

Warning: If you are not comfortable working around electronic control boards, contact a qualified technician. Incorrect wiring can cause shock, fire, or permanent damage.
