Possible Causes

Blocked condenser airflow, Failed condenser fan motor, Overcharged refrigerant, High ambient temperature beyond design

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before cleaning or servicing. Components may be hot immediately after shutdown.

  • Step 1 – Improve ventilation:
    • Ensure at least the manufacturer-recommended clearance around the unit (typically 30–50 cm from walls or obstacles).
    • For portable units, verify the exhaust hose is short, straight, and properly vented outdoors.
  • Step 2 – Clean condenser coil and fan:
    • Remove rear panel to access the condenser coil and fan.
    • Clean dust and lint from the coil fins and fan blades.
  • Step 3 – Check fan operation:
    • Reassemble, power on, and observe the condenser fan in COOL mode.
    • If the fan does not start or is slow/noisy, replace the Pro Breeze Condenser Fan Motor.

If F5 persists in normal ambient temperatures with good airflow, a refrigerant or sensor issue may exist and should be checked by a technician.
