Low Dehumidification Performance
Unit runs in dehumidify (DRY) mode but collects very little water

Possible Causes
Low ambient humidity, Low refrigerant charge, Restricted airflow, Incorrect mode expectations
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Step 1 – Check room conditions:
- Measure room humidity; if already low (below ~50%), water collection will be minimal.
- Step 2 – Clean filter and coils:
- Ensure good airflow across the evaporator.
- Step 3 – Verify continuous drain:
- If using a hose, ensure it is properly installed and not leaking.
If humidity is high but water collection remains very low and cooling is also weak, a refrigerant issue may be present and requires a technician.
