Unit runs in dehumidify (DRY) mode but collects very little water

Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning.

• Step 1 – Check room conditions:
  • Measure room humidity; if already low (below ~50%), water collection will be minimal.
• Step 2 – Clean filter and coils:
  • Ensure good airflow across the evaporator.
• Step 3 – Verify continuous drain:
  • If using a hose, ensure it is properly installed and not leaking.

If humidity is high but water collection remains very low and cooling is also weak, a refrigerant issue may be present and requires a technician.
